‘Didn’t want my work diluted’: Sonakshi Sinha kept her relationship hidden for 3 years; here’s the real psychology behind secret love lives | Feelings News

Many people choose to keep early relationships private, sometimes out of caution, sometimes out of fear, and sometimes to protect something meaningful. On actor Soha Ali Khan’s podcast, Sonakshi Sinha described why she kept her relationship under wraps in the beginning. She said, “One reason was, of course, work. When you are a female actor, most of the talk becomes about relationships and who you are dating and who you are spotted with. I wanted people to talk about my work and not my relationships. I work very hard, and I did not want to dilute it by this.”  She added that she didn’t tell her parents for almost three years: “The other reason was that I had not told my parents about it, actually, I kept it from them for almost 3 years.” Sonakshi also spoke about the scrutiny that followed news of her interfaith marriage, something many couples experience in different forms. Reflecting on the backlash, she said, “I don’t know why everyone was so hot and bothered. It’s all just noise, honestly. …

Five tips to find what really brings you joy outside of work | Health News

Not long ago I attended a concert. It was a band that I had been waiting a while to see and so I was excited to be there in the crowd. Part way through, they played my favourite song and I noticed that I felt something different. It felt like a pinnacle moment where the emotion of joy felt expansive and unstoppable. In that moment, I felt more alive with all my senses of my surroundings heightened and yet so much more connected to the core of who I know myself to be. I first set out to write about finding joy, as if joy was out there in the world waiting for us to find it. However, the story of the concert shows us that this is not the case. Not everyone likes the band that I saw and not everyone in the concert had the same experience as me. This tells us that joy is more personal, an inside job, rather than something to find outside ourselves. Story continues below this ad The psychologist …

A case was filed against both YouTubers, prompting their summons by the Mumbai police. The incident drew condemnation from social media users, public figures as well as political leaders, with some even raising the issue in Parliament. For Allahbadia, who was honoured with the Disruptor of the Year award by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the National Creators Award last year, the controversy has proven particularly damaging. As the content creator faces ongoing backlash for his controversial “sex with parents” remark while attempting to roast a contestant as a judge, his apology — stating that “comedy is not my forte” — has done little to quell the criticism. Story continues below this ad Earlier last year, content creator and actor Kusha Kapila also came forward after appearing on a show called ‘Pretty Good Roast Show’ where …
