As the last rites of Tata Sons’ Chairman Emeritus Ratan Tata was conducted with full state honours at a Mumbai crematorium, French President Emmanuel Macron condoled the demise of business mogul and said that “France lost a dear friend from India”. Ratan Tata, who was 86 years old, passed away after a prolonged illness on late Wednesday night at Mumbai’s Breach Candy hospital. He was admitted to the hospital a couple of days ago to undergo medical examinations which was said to be a regular age-related check-up.
