PSL 2025 Likely to Resume in Pakistan at Rawalpindi

The Pakistan Super League (PSL 2025) is likely to resume later this week with the PCB aiming to hold the remaining games in Pakistan. The tournament was initially suspended due to escalating IND-PAK tension due to border tensions. However, after Ceasefire, the situation has cooled down a little, despite the occasional violation by Pakistan. According to the media, the PCB are expected to resume the tournament by May 16 and will be held in Rawalpindi. On the other hand, it is learned that the officials have informed franchises that foreign players should remain in Dubai as preparations for resumption. Meanwhile, the Pakistan players are asked to assemble in Islamabad. If PSL 2025 is set to resume, the possibility of it being held in Rawalpindi looks bleak. If reports are believed, the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium was hit in a drone attack, amid the recent Indo-Pak hostilities. According to the Pakistan Army’s spokesperson, India has been carrying out Israeli drone attacks since the night of May 7 and May 8. New Delhi: India has thwarted an attempt by Pakistan to target Indian military installations spread across the western and northern sectors using drones and missiles. The areas that were targeted by Pakistan include Awantipura, Srinagar, Jammu, Pathankot, Amritsar, Kapurthala, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Adampur, Bhatinda, Chandigarh, Nal, Phalodi, Uttarlai, and Bhuj. Following this, the Indian Armed Forces targeted Air Defence Radars and systems at several locations. Pakistan has claimed that India has carried out drone attacks in nine cities. They are Rawalpindi, Lahore, Gujranwala, Chakwal, Attock, Bahawalpur, Mianwali, Karachi and Chhor.
