The government had already extended it twice, first to April 30, and then to May 4. The initial deadline ended on March 31 for the rebate scheme which was launched on February 20 this year. As per the initial announcement, a 25% rebate was announced on the regularisation fee and open space charges if paid before the deadline, for the LRS announced in 2020. Applicants were given the option of paying pro-rata open space charges at the time of obtaining building permissions too, but they will have to be paid in full, without 25% rebate. LRS fee payment with 25% rebate extended up to April 30 in Telangana

The government has announced extension of last date for payment of fees for the Layout Regularisation Scheme (LRS) with a rebate of 25% till April 30, 2025. Principal Secretary M. Dana Kishore in orders issued on Wednesday has also clarified that applicants who pay regularisation charges pro rata open space charges on or before March 31, 2025 will be entitled for 25% rebate on the said regularisation charges and pro-rata open space charges. The applicants have the option of paying pro-rata open space charges at the time of obtaining building permission also. However, the proposed 25% rebate will not be applicable for such payments if the charges are not paid on or before March 31, 2025. The government has received 25,67,107 applications till date with fee intimation letters issued for about 20,000 and fee paid being ₹4,58,680. 100% rebate on power bills for farmers’ tubewells: Ahead of LS polls, UP Cabinet clears major proposals | Lucknow News

In a move to woo farmers before the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the Uttar Pradesh Cabinet on Tuesday cleared a proposal to provide 100 per cent rebate on electricity bills on tubewells used by farmers in rural as well as urban areas of the state. The decision is estimated to benefit 14.73 lakh beneficiaries in rural areas and 5,188 in urban areas. In other significant decisions, the Cabinet cleared the draft ordinance for the State Capital Region and other region development authorities, the Uttar Pradesh Green Hydrogen Policy and the next phase of Metro extension for Lucknow. “During elections, the BJP had announced 100 per cent rebate to farmers on the electricity bills of their private tubewells. In accordance with that, the state would provide 100 per cent rebate to farmers on their private tubewell electricity bills,” minister A K Sharma said.
