Akhilesh Yadav alleges BJP misuses religion and donations to fuel corruption
Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav launched a scathing attack on the BJP on Tuesday, alleging that it has institutionalised corruption in the name of religion and donations, and accusing it of misleading devotees. He also said a true patriot will expose this “criminology” of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and boycott it socially and politically. In a post on X, Yadav attacked the BJP on the Ram temple donation-theft issue, saying people should understand the “criminology” of the saffron party rather than what he termed the “chronology of offerings, donations and contributions”. The former Uttar Pradesh chief minister alleged that the BJP and its associates first establish covert links with devotees across the world, emotionally exploit their religious belief and collect large sums in cash as well as precious metals and gemstones.
