Legislators, cutting across party lines, alleged that the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) was not giving them respect, as they were given general tickets. The issue was raised by Congress MLA Vijayanand Kashappanavar, as Karnataka Deputy CM and Bengaluru Development Minister D K Shivakumar was responding to discussions on issues affecting the city. The MLA said that five general seat tickets were given to legislators. “When we go to watch the match, we don’t get respect. A separate lounge should be made for ministers and MLAs,” he demanded.
