Noah Sadaoui’s Injury-Time Goal Hands Kerala Blasters 3-2 Win Over Odisha FC

Noah Sadaoui’s last-gasp goal handed Kerala Blasters a narrow 3-2 win over Odisha FC in their Indian Super League match at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi on Monday. Noah scored the winning goal in the fifth minute of the added time after both sides were locked 2-2. Blasters’ other two goals were scored by Kwame Peprah (60th) and Jesus Jimenez (73rd). Jerry Mawihmingthanga (4th) and Dori (80th) were the goal-scorers for Odisha FC. The Juggernauts are now winless in their last four games, and the Kochi-based team is unbeaten (W5, D2) in all seven games that Noah has found the back of the net this season, as the home team scored thrice in the final half hour of the game. The Juggernauts made a positive start in the fourth minute, opting for a relatively direct route to surprise the Kerala Blasters defence. Kerala Blasters Coach Mikael Stahre Provides Update on Noah Sadaoui’s Return

In the post-match press conference following Kerala Blasters’ 4-2 loss to Mumbai City FC at the Mumbai Football Arena, Coach Mikael Stahre addressed the media about his team’s performance and the lessons to be learned from the match. Stahre acknowledged the shaky start by his team, stating, “First of all, they came up really well, and we performed poorly. We were not aggressive and stable enough in the first part of the game.” He noted that Mumbai City took control early on, scoring their first goal with relative ease, leaving Kerala’s defense scrambling. Despite a challenging first half, Stahre expressed pride in his team’s resilience. “We reacted at halftime, making changes and tactical adjustments. Unfortunately, we conceded a penalty quite early in the second half,” he reflected. However, he was pleased with how his team bounced back, stating, “I’m really proud of that comeback. We scored two goals after going down, and the feeling in that moment…everyone in this room felt that uplift.” Stahre lamented the impact of crucial moments that turned the tide against …

Sadaoui’s Hat-trick helps FC Goa cruise past Hyderabad FC

FC Goa breezed past Hyderabad FC with a 4-0 scoreline in the Indian Super League (ISL) at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Goa on Friday. Substitute Noah Sadaoui scored a hat-trick within 12 minutes in the second half to power the Gaurs to a league double over the Thangboi Singto-coached side this season. Noah’s treble of goals was complemented by a late strike by Spanish striker Carlos Martinez as FC Goa moved to 39 points in the standings, equalling their nearest competitors, i.e. Odisha FC and the Mohun Bagan Super Giant. Interestingly, Noah started the game on the bench, but a goalless first half prompted head coach Manolo Marquez to call for his services in the second essay of the game. Off went Borja Herrera at the brink of half-time, and Noah wasted no time in getting into the thick of things. His first goal was more of the making of ex-Hyderabad FC attacking midfielder Mohammed Yasir though. Operating on the right flank, after being handed a free-flowing role in the frontline by Marquez, Yasir …
