However, a final report on the print is awaited. On Thursday, a police official had confirmed that two staffers at Saif Ali Khan’s residence had identified Shariful Fakir as the one who attacked the actor after entering his house. Prior to that, the Mumbai Police conducted an Identification Parade (IP) at the Arthur Road jail in connection with the attack on the actor. In a latest development in the Saif Ali Khan attack and robbery probe, the Mumbai Police was led to a West Bengal-based woman, whose SIM card was used by the accused attacker, Bangladeshi national Shariful Islam. Mumbai: Actor Saif Ali Khan, who suffered stab injuries after an intruder entered his Mumbai home for an apparent burglary on January 16, recorded his statement with the Bandra police on Thursday.
