Saif Ali Khan was reportedly stabbed six times by an intruder on January 16. The actor got injured while trying to protect his family from an intruder who allegedly entered his home with an intention of theft. The actor was taken to Lilavati Hospital where he underwent treatment. A few days later, the police arrested the alleged intruder from Thane and the investigation is underway. The court has sent the alleged accused into police custody till January 29. Latest reports state that the accused will now undergo a facial recognition test.
