Bihar on Wednesday broke the record for the highest ever team score in men’s List A cricket, smashing a mind-boggling score of 574/6 against Arunachal Pradesh in the Plate Group of the Vijay Hazare Trophy. Bihar’s stunning assault was first built on wunderkind Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s record 190 in 84 balls. Captain Sakibul Gani then scored an unbeaten 128 in 40 balls while wicketkeeper Ayush Loharuka scored 116 in 56. Suryavanshi missed out on the record for fastest ever men’s List A century by a single delivery, getting there in 36 balls. However, Gani did exactly that by getting there in 32 balls.
