Samyukt Kisan Morcha warns against natural farming, asks Centre to ensure adequate fertilisers

The SKM has also decided to hold nationwide protests against the rise in prices of fertilisers, diesel and black marketing. Addressing reporters, the leaders of the SKM said their National Council will meet on June 17, and an All India Convention will be held on July 28 at New Delhi to gear up for “long haul of mass struggles” till achieving crucial demands, including a statutory minimum support price (MSP). The SKM leaders asked farmer unions, peasant organisations and agricultural workers to burn copies of the recent Government order on MSP for the kharif crops in every village.
