CSA Revises India Women Series Schedule, Adds Three T20Is
Cricket South Africa (CSA) has revised and expanded the India Women’s tour of South Africa, adding a three-match T20I series. The tour, originally set to comprise a warm-up game, three ODIs and a one-off test between December 06 and 23, has been reworked to include three T20Is. Under the revised schedule, the tour will run until December 30, with the test to be played first, followed by the ODI and T20I series. The T20Is will be a preparation for both sides ahead of the inaugural ICC Women’s Champions Trophy scheduled to be held in Sri Lanka in February. The ODI games will be played across Paarl, Cape Town and Bloemfontein. The final leg of India’s tour will constitute the T20Is, starting with fixtures on Boxing Day in Benoni.
