A school teacher in Tamil Nadu’s Tenkasi district has been booked for allegedly beating ten female students studying in Class 10 with a cane, leaving them with severe hand injuries, police said. According to a police statement, the accused, Thenmaria Suganthi, was taking a Class 11 session when she became angry over noise from the adjacent Class 10 classroom. Enraged teacher beat students According to a police statement cited by news agency PTI, the accused, identified as Thenmaria Suganthi, was conducting a Class 11 session when she became angry over noise coming from an adjacent Class 10 classroom. She allegedly entered the Class 10 room and caned the students, leaving around 10 of them with severe injuries to their hands. The students were taken to VK Pudur Government Hospital and nearby private healthcare facilities for treatment.
