The crash took place around 6 pm on the road connecting Radhemangal Hall to Swaroop Nagar, near Vijaya Hospital. According to a report by The Times of India, the car first rammed into a scooter being ridden by 19-year-old woman. The impact threw her onto the road, leaving her injured. Police said the driver did not stop after hitting the scooter. The car allegedly went out of control and then hit a 61-year-old woman, who was walking nearby.
