Chennai: The 23rd National Para-athletics Championships is all set to begin at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium today, with the three day event set to see the stars of the para-athletics circuit go head to head against one another. Paris Olympics gold medal-winning javelin thrower Navdeep Singh will be in action today in the morning, competing in the Javelin F41 event. Similarly, three-time Paralympics medalist Mariyappan Thangavelu and two-time Paralympics gold medalist Sumit Antil will also compete today, in the men’s T63 high jump and men’s F64 Javelin events respectively.
