(PTI) In the wake of the recent fire incident at Birch by Romeo Lane at Arpora on Saturday that claimed 25 lives, the State Disaster Management Authority (SDMA) has directed all nightclubs, restaurants, bars, event venues and similar establishments across Goa to conduct an internal safety audit within seven days. The authorities have instructed that the audit reports be kept ready for inspection by district officials, the fire services or SDMA-authorised teams to ensure compliance with safety norms.
