Ishant Sharma Blasts Ashutosh Sharma Mid-Match During GT vs DC IPL 2025 Game, Reason Is This

Ishant Sharma had a heated argument with Delhi Capitals’s Ashutosh Sharma during an IPL 2025 match in Ahmedabad on Saturday. The altercation happened in the 19th over of DC innings. Gujarat Titans pacer Ishant delivered a bouncer to Ashutosh, which went to wicketkeeper Jos Buttler. The GT players thought that the ball had touched Ashutosh’s gloves. The on-field umpire was not convinced. Ashutosh immediately showed that the ball had touched his shoulders.  Ishant was not convinced and gave Ashutosh a piece of his mind. Shubman Gill intervened and then Ishant went and talked to the umpires. He looked unhappy even after the innings ended.  Battle b/w ishant sharma vs ashutosh Sharma pic.twitter.com/EMd12Z2o7V — Daigo18 (@daigo2637391027) April 19, 2025 Talking about the match, Jos Buttler’s unbeaten 97 guided Gujarat Titans over the line and secured a seven-wicket victory over the Delhi Capitals in Match 35 of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Saturday. Rohit Sharma already excited about leading in England – if Bumrah, Shami and Siraj can sing together, why not? | Cricket News

In the first part of the chat, Charke mentions the series in Australia that India lost. Rohit opens up. Surprisingly, he shares details about his ‘argument’ with the head coach and chief selector over his decision to sit out the Sydney Test. Unlike the uproar over The Indian Express report about Gambhir cracking the whip at Melbourne at the start of this year and the subsequent preachy ‘what happens in the dressing room stays in the dressing room’ stance of the team management, this time there is no saintly posturing about breach of the team’s trust. That’s a story for another day, back to the Clarke podcast. As expected, early in the conversation the two captains talk about the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Clarke observes how India, or rather Jasprit Bumrah, had missed his old pace partner Mohammed Shami in Australia. Rohit agrees and hopes the two, and even others, survive the IPL’s frenetic pace to be fresh for England. “It is not about bowling just four overs but the travel is challenging. Hope these guys finish the …

Rohit Sharma is yet to bat beyond the Powerplay in IPL 2025; Mumbai Indians need a bigger impact from their star batter | Ipl News

One of the Indian Premier League’s most successful cricketers, and a brand name as big as any, Rohit Sharma’s presence in the 18th edition has been largely limited on the field. Used as an Impact Substitute by Mumbai Indians in all but one match this season, the World Cup-winning captain hasn’t spent too much time in the middle as a specialist batter. In all six of the matches he has played for MI this season (missing one due to injury), Rohit has not batted beyond the Powerplay. His scores so far read: 0, 8, 13, 17, 18, 26. An upward trend for sure, and he looked in better touch in his last outing than he did in the first, but that’s clutching at straws. In his role as India’s captain, and pace-setter for the batting innings in white-ball cricket in the recent past, Rohit has often spoken about maximising impact and not worrying about the volume of runs. That maxim should hold any batter in good stead in modern T20 cricket; it’s why perhaps the …

Unreal Feeling To Have A Stand Named After Me At Wankhede Stadium: Rohit Sharma

Unreal Feeling To Have A Stand Named After Me At Wankhede Stadium: Rohit Sharma

An emotional India captain Rohit Sharma on Friday recalled his journey from standing outside the Wankhede Stadium as a young player to catch a glimpse of Mumbai Ranji Trophy stars to having a stand named after him at the iconic venue, terming it as an “unreal feeling”. The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) had recently announced naming a stand after India’s Test and ODI skipper Rohit along with former captain Ajit Wadekar and former BCCI president and ICC chairman Sharad Pawar. “No one dreams of things like this when they are just starting off playing cricket,” said Rohit after being announced as the brand ambassador of the third edition of the T20 Mumbai League. Then he took a trip back in time, remembering being a starry-eyed budding player jostling to watch the stars of yesteryears. “I still remember those days when I used to stand outside (the) Wankhede Stadium just to enter and watch Mumbai Ranji Trophy team practice; I am talking about 2004 or maybe 2003. “We used to finish our U-14, U-16 …

‘Unreal feeling’: Rohit Sharma on having a stand named after him at Wankhede | Cricket News

India captain Rohit Sharma said the feeling of having a stand named in the Wankhede after him was unreal, reminiscing about days when he was a young player trying to catch a glimpse of the Mumbai Ranji Trophy players at the iconic venue. The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) had announced earlier in the week that the Divecha Pavilion Level 3 will soon be named Rohit Sharma Stand. “No one dreams of things like this when they are just starting off playing cricket. I still remember those days when I used to stand outside (the) Wankhede Stadium just to enter and watch Mumbai Ranji Trophy team practice; I am talking about 2004 or maybe 2003,” Rohit said after being announced as the brand ambassador of the third edition of the T20 Mumbai League. “We used to finish our U-14, U-16 training at Azad Maidan. Me, with a few of my friends, used to travel across the railway track to go and just get a glimpse of some of the Ranji Trophy cricketers. I know how tough …

‘A big score is coming very soon’: Mark Boucher bats for Rohit Sharma to find form in IPL | Ipl News

‘A big score is coming very soon’: Mark Boucher bats for Rohit Sharma to find form in IPL | Ipl News

With former Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma struggling for form this Indian Premier League (IPL) season, his former coach with MI Mark Boucher said that the Indian captain was showing signs of returning to rhythm, adding that it was just a matter of time before Rohit fires in all cylinders. Rohit scored his highest score of the season on Thursday when he slammed 26 runs against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Wankhede. “Rohit Sharma took it upon himself to go after the bowlers. We saw some good old-fashioned Rohit Sharma sixes – big ones too. I liked his attitude. He put the bowlers under pressure, created scoring opportunities. He was just past the 30-mark — a big score is coming very soon. He’s looking in that zone again,” Boucher said on ‘Jiostar’. There has been a lot of talks about Rohit’s dismal run this season with the batter failing to reach 50 runs in 6 matches. If you leave out the Hyderabad match, Rohit has scores of 0, 8, 13, 17, 18 in the other games …

IPL 2025: Big Score From Rohit Sharma Coming Soon, He’s In The Zone Again, Says Mark Boucher

After Mumbai Indians’ secured a four-wicket victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2025, former South African cricketer Mark Boucher believes a big score is around the corner from Rohit Sharma, observing that he appeared poised for playing a match winning knock. In the chase of 163 at the Wankhede Stadium, Rohit slammed 26 off 16 balls and hit three sixes, signalling that he was in the mood to play a big knock. But he gave a catch to cover off Pat Cummins, and departed in the powerplay. Eventually, MI completed the chase in the 19th over to secure their second straight win of IPL 2025. “Rohit Sharma took it upon himself to go after the bowlers. We saw some good old-fashioned Rohit Sharma sixes – big ones too. I liked his attitude. He put the bowlers under pressure and created scoring opportunities. He was just past the 30-mark – a big score is coming very soon. He’s looking in that zone again,” said Boucher on JioStar. The star of MI’s win over SRH …

Virender Sehwag’s ‘Jane Ka Time Aa Gaya’ Take Turns Prophetic As Rohit Sharma Fails Once Again

Virender Sehwag’s ‘Jane Ka Time Aa Gaya’ Take Turns Prophetic As Rohit Sharma Fails Once Again

Rohit Sharma in action for Mumbai Indians in IPL 2025© AFP Former Indian cricket team batter Virender Sehwag was extremely critical of Rohit Sharma as the Mumbai Indians star continued to struggle for runs in the ongoing IPL 2025. Rohit, who came into the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad with 56 runs in five innings, was dismissed for 26 by Pat Cummins. Rohit’s dismal run has resulted in a lot of criticism from both experts as well as fans and Sehwag warned him that he needs to safeguard his legacy. Sehwag pointed out that he has just one 400-plus run IPL season and even hinted that it is time for Rohit to retire from the format. “If you look at Rohit’s IPL numbers in the last 10 years, he scored more than 400 runs only once. So he is not the kind of player who thinks that I need to score 500 or 700 runs. If he thinks, he might. When he became the Indian captain, he said that he wanted to be the …
