Sabarimala’s former executive officer Sudheesh Kumar has reportedly been arrested in connection with the alleged disappearance of gold from the temple, taking the total number if arrests in the case to three. The temple on the hill of Sabarimala, where the presiding deity is Lord Ayyappa, is situated within the Periyar Tiger Reserve in Kerala’s Pathanamthitta district, surrounded by 18 hills. The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) is expected to release the Maharashtra Board exam date sheets soon. The timetable will be released in PDF format, detailing subject-wise and shift-wise schedules. Once released, students appearing for the Secondary School Certificate (SSC/Class 10) and Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC/Class 12) exams in 2026 can check the timetables through the official website of MSBSHSE at mahahsscboard.in. Expected examination dates The examination form-filling process for Class 10 began on September 15 and is set to conclude on October 6, 2025. Whereas, the Class 12 exam form submission process started on October 1 and will conclude on October 20, 2025. Based on previous years, the Class 10 or SSC exam is expected to start on February 16, 2026, while the Class 12 or HSC exam is likely to begin on February 9, 2026, with minor variations of a few days possible. The Uttar Pradesh Police’s Special Task Force (STF) on Sunday claimed to have recovered 1,372 fake degrees and mark sheets from a private university in Hapur district and arrested 10 persons, including the institution’s chairperson and pro-chancellor. They also seized 262 counterfeit provisional and migration certificates, 14 mobile phones and seven laptops, the STF said in a press statement. Besides university chairperson Vijendra Singh Hooda and pro-chancellor Nitin Kumar Singh, those arrested are varsity staffers Kamal Batra, Imran, Gaurav, Mukesh Thakur, Vipul Chaudhary and Abhishek Pandey, and one Sandeep Shehrawat and his associate Rajesh, officials said. Three people, including a cyber cafe operator, have been arrested for allegedly creating fake mark sheets for people, especially unemployed youth, in Madhya Pradesh`s Indore, police said on Monday. Based on a tip-off, the accused, Javed Khan, Mohammad Azharuddin and Mohammad Riyaz, were apprehended from the Khajrana police station area, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Amarendra Singh said. He said Khan operated a cyber cafe, and several fake mark sheets were recovered from his establishment. Karnataka Health Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao on Thursday said that a clear message will be sent across and plastic will be banned in the food making process, PTI reported. “If someone is doing it then it should be brought to our notice,” the minister said. As per PTI, this move comes after the minister alleged that the Food Safety Department of Karnataka found that around 52 hotels were using polythene sheets in order to prepare Idli. According to him, polythene, especially the thin sheets, are carcinogenic and the state government will not allow such practices in the hotel industry. “The Food Safety department had collected Idli samples at 251 places across Karnataka. Earlier clothes were used for cooking Idlis but we got the information that recently the hotels have started using plastic. So our officers went to various spots and conducted an inquiry,” Rao told ANI reporters.
