Speaker Birla, in a significant push to expand India’s inter-parliamentary engagement, has formed these groups to interact with more than 60 countries, marking a renewed effort to strengthen legislative diplomacy alongside traditional foreign policy channels. Similar delegations were formed last year after ‘Operation Sindoor’ to broadcast India’s successful military strikes against terror targets in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir.
