The Indian delegation also held strategic engagements with the Italian Space Industry Study Group to explore opportunities for deeper commercial and technological cooperation between the two countries. IN-SPACe which is the single-window agency for all space sector activities of private entities said that the nine Indian space-tech companies, including Astrogate Labs, Astrobase Space Technologies, VyomIC, Suhora, Kepler Aerospace Ltd, Hyspace Technologies, TakeMe2Space, Jarbits Pvt Ltd and Dhruva Space, joined the delegation, with multiple partnerships and collaboration announcements emerging during the visit. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday inaugurated the India AI Impact Expo here featuring over 600 high-potential startups and 13 country pavilions showcasing international collaboration in the AI ecosystem. He also interacted with startups participating in the expo. The prime minister visited various stalls and spoke with the companies participating in the expo. He was seen asking questions from company representatives to better understand what they are showcasing. The prime minister spent several minutes at various stalls while interacting with the representatives. The Expo brings together global technology firms, startups, academia and research institutions, central and state governments and international partners. A Mint review of more than 300 job descriptions showed that startups such as Javis, Abacus AI, Auxo AI, and others are extending annual packages in the ₹39-60 lakh range—with some US-based positions touching ₹2.6 crore+ for roles spanning voice AI, multimodal engineering, and core machine language (ML) development. In contrast, established firms—from BlackRock and IndiGo to major FMCG and IT services players—are offering ₹16-35 lakh for AI-linked roles, with IT services firms continuing to hire at scale but at far lower compensation levels compared to the AI startup cohort.
