Commercial LPG supplies in Telangana meeting only 20% demand; Uttam urges Centre for more commercial cylinders

But the domestic supply is near-normal. Civil Supplies Minister N. Uttam Kumar Reddy on Saturday (March 14) said that he wrote to the Centre requesting additional commercial LPG cylinders. A sharp drop in the commercial LPG deliveries were recorded, from the usual requirement of 23,000 cylinders per day to roughly 6,200 cylinders. The Minister said that the domestic LPG supplies stand at near-normal levels with around 2.15 lakh cylinders delivered per day. On Friday, a little over 2.37 lakh domestic cylinders were delivered.
