Akkalkot Shri Swami Samarth Temple area set for Rs 500 crore revamp
The Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) will be appointed as the Special Planning Authority for the planned and comprehensive development of the Shri Vatvruksha Swami Samarth Temple area in Akkalkot, following approval from Deputy Chief Minister (CM) and Housing Minister Eknath Shinde. The move will pave the way for the development of roads, parking facilities, reserved plots, and other essential infrastructure around the temple precinct, aiming to improve facilities for devotees visiting the prominent pilgrimage site.
