Vvan will mark first collaboration between Tamannaa Bhatia and Sidharth Malhotra. Tamannaah Bhatia has joined Sidharth Malhotra’s upcoming folk thriller, Vvan-Force of the Forest. On Wednesday, the makers of the film released a new teaser introducing the actress. In the clip, Tamannaah’s face wasn’t visible. However, she was seen running barefoot, in a red saree, towards a forest. She even lights a lamp in the teaser and comes across a board which reads, “Warning: Entering the forest after sunset isn’t allowed”. Sharing the teaser online, Balaji Motion Pictures wrote, “Rooted in Indian mythology and mysticism, VVAN – Force of the Forrest unfolds a tale straight from the pages of history and folklore. The Sarfarosh team celebrated its 25th year on Friday. Sharing that he has been trying to make a sequel to the film, lead actor Aamir Khan said, “I’ve been telling director John Matthew Mathan for many years to make Sarfarosh 2. The film ended in such a way that we could make part two. I’ve told John that if he writes a good story, then we can make the sequel.” Apparently, the filmmaker later told Aamir that he was working on something. The actor added, “I can commit one thing, we’ll definitely give it a serious shot now, coming up with the right script and the right kind of film for [part two].” The actor plays an upright cop, Ajay Singh Rathod, whose life takes a turn when he discovers a huge conspiracy while investigating the arms smuggling ring in Rajasthan.
