Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari. | Photo Credit: ANI The strategies for evolving technology-driven solutions to improve the infrastructure of Anganwadi centres in Rajasthan with the corporate social responsibility (CSR) funds were discussed at a workshop here on Friday. Representatives of corporate houses highlighted their innovations for helping out the community hubs for maternal and child health services. Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari, who holds the women and child development portfolio, said the CSR funds could play a crucial role in modernisation of Angawandi centres. These centres could be constructed in a few weeks by utilising modern technology for prefabricated structures and containers, she said. “Tech-driven solutions can facilitate the desired transformation of the infrastructure of dilapidated Anganwadi centres in a short span of time, enabling them to provide grassroots-level services,” Ms. Kumari said. The State government’s Women and Child Development Department organised the workshop to mobilise the CSR support under “Mission Saksham Anganwadi Evum Poshan 2.0”. After the recent leak controversy, Union minister Pralhad Joshi on Saturday said that the government is considering bringing the reforms, assurance coming days ahead of the NEET-UG re-examination. MUMBAI: The nature of warfare is undergoing a fundamental transformation, with future conflicts expected to be fought across multiple domains such as cyber space, space, the electromagnetic spectrum and the cognitive space, said chief of defence staff (CDS), general Anil Chauhan, while addressing Techfest 2025 at the Indian Institute of Technology-Bombay (IIT-B). “These domains are no longer elite spaces; we depend on them every day, which makes them critical and contested,” he said. Following the sighting of a leopard near Pune airport, Union Minister Murlidhar Mohol on Tuesday called for an intensified search and rescue operation and asked authorities to deploy specialised technology to bolster safety in the high-security zone, news agency PTI reported. The big cat was spotted near Pune International Airport on November 19, leading forest officials and Indian Air Force (IAF) personnel to begin a search operation in the vicinity. As a substantial part of the airport premises comes under IAF control, Mohol, who is the Minister of State for Civil Aviation, has suggested involving the air force for technical support, PTI reported. He directed the Airport Authority of India (AAI) and the forest department to improve coordination and adopt specialised technology to ensure safety during the ongoing operation. “The airport is an extremely sensitive and high-security zone.
