The development comes despite the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) emerging as a strong force in the corporation, prompting the party to announce that it will sit in the opposition. Addressing a media conference, BJP MP Dharmapuri Arvind thanked voters for supporting the party and highlighted its electoral performance. “Thanks to the people of Nizamabad who voted for the BJP. The BJP has won 28 seats. In Nizamabad Corporation, we will remain in the opposition,” he said.
