The police have solved the horrific murder case of a five-year-old child at the hostel of a residential school in Bihar’s Jehanabad earlier this week. A guard at the school’s canteen has confessed to the crime, police said. He had allegedly sexually abused the boy and then slit his throat. Nationalist Congress Party (NCP SP) chief Sharad Pawar was on Monday taken to a hospital in Pune district of Maharashtra he complained of throat-related problems and persistent coughing. Sharad Pawar was admitted to Ruby Hall Clinic in Pune at around 4 pm on Monday, an official statement said. The 85-year-old leader was accompanied by his wife Pratibha Pawar, daughter Supriya Sule, son-in-law Sadanand Sule and grandson Rohit Pawar. Dr Abhijeet Lodha, who is treating Pawar, said a preliminary medical examination had been carried out. Former Union minister Sharad Pawar, 85, was being taken to a hospital in Pune from his residence in Baramati on Monday afternoon following complaints related to the throat as well as coughing. NCP (SP) chief Sharad Pawar is a cancer survivor.
