Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively attended the TIME Magazine Gala after the actress was named as one of the 100 influential people on the list. As the Gala progressed the Another Simple Favor star stepped up on the podium for a quick pep talk, including the instances in her life and the recent events amid her ongoing feud with Justin Baldoni. TIME Magazine has unveiled its prestigious ‘TIME100 Most Influential People in AI 2024’ list, highlighting the leading figures shaping the artificial intelligence arena worldwide. The list also includes several prominent Indians. Notable names in the list include Google CEO Sundar Pichai, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, and Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang among others. Key Indian figures featured are Union Railways and IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, Nandan Nilekani, co-founder of Infosys, and actor Anil Kapoor, recognised for their significant contributions to AI and technology. Actor Ayushmann Khurrana is all set to attend the prestigious TIME100 Gala event in New York. Sakshi Malik is on Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People 2024 list

Olympic medallist, Sakshi Malik, is the only Indian sportsperson to have been featured in Time magazine’s list of ‘The 100 Most Influential People of 2024’ in their latest announcement on Wednesday. She was one of those wrestlers who gathered at Jantar Mantar in early 2023 to protest against the former head of the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI), Brij Bhushan Singh. The group gathered to demand the immediate arrest and resignation of Brijbhushan, who is the ruling party BJP’s seating MP from Kaiserganj, accused of sexually harassing female athletes. The 31-year-old Sakshi is India’s first and only female wrestler to win an Olympic medal. She clinched a bronze medal, staging a come-from-behind win against Aisuluu Tynybekova of Kyrgyzstan to win the bronze medal at the Rio Olympics in 2016. Sakshi alongside her fellow star Indian wrestlers Bajrang Punia and Vinesh Phogat, staged protests to demand decisive action against Brij Bhushan. The criterion was that readers voted for the personalities that they deemed were the best fit for a spot on the iconic magazine TIME’s annual list of the most influential people. The actors ranked above the likes of Oscar-winning actor Michelle Yeoh, athlete Serena Williams, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva. Shah Rukh won by earning 4% of the vote after more than 1.2 million votes were cast. If that is not a reason to celebrate, we don’t know what is. The second spot on the list was occupied by Iranian women protesting for freedom. It was followed by health care workers, who came in third with a total of 2% of the vote from the readers.
