Dhamaal 4 review: The treasure hunt returns, but the laughs never do in this tired sequel starring Ajay Devgn and team

Dhamaal 4 review: The treasure hunt returns, but the laughs never do in this tired sequel starring Ajay Devgn and team

“Yeh toh bhootni ki Burj Khalifa hai”, “Tu aadmi nahi pajama hai, voh bhi fata hua”, and body shaming parading around as humour. If this is what Dhamaal 4 considers comic gold, the bar has sunk alarmingly low. I laughed a grand total of five times throughout the film. I began counting midway because keeping track of the laughs was far more engaging. Dhamaal 4 review: Ajay Devgn’s film fails to match the charm of its predecessors. The gang of Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Javed Jaffrey and Riteish Deshmukh is back with the fourth installment of this comedy franchise. The first Dhamaal, despite being inspired from other films, had enough in it to deliver genuinely funny moments and eventually attain cult status. Double Dhamaal was a misfire, while Total Dhamaal banked more on scale than laughs. It still made enough money to convince the makers that another round was worth taking. What is the plot? Dhamaal 4 simply hits the reset button. Once again, it is a treasure hunt. Earlier, it was “W ke neeche”. …

The tired legs that make the greatest footballing brain work

The tired legs that make the greatest footballing brain work

6 min readNew JerseyUpdated: Jun 23, 2026 07:35 AM IST Lionel Messi and Rodrigo de Paul are not just structural parts of the same sentence, but de Paul is the verb that makes Messi the subject moving. Messi can be watched in isolation, at walking pace, with an impermeable halo around him, a fulfilling experience in itself. But to admire Messi, the viewer should admire de Paul too. It is difficult because they are not often together, not in each other’s shadows, not indulging in one-twos or interplays, and not passing the ball to each other or assisting. But you miss de Paul, you miss part of Messi too. To watch de Paul is to watch where Messi should have been; to understand de Paul is to understand what Messi should have been doing. Messi roams, but de Paul ensures that he leaves no vacuum. He fills the space. Messi doesn’t press. He needn’t, because there is de Paul pressing for two men. Messi doesn’t run, because de Paul is running for him, covering his …

Mumbaikar’s tired of the long haul to Bhiwandi, Ulhasnagar? New metro line 5 and 5A may cut the grind | Mumbai News

Mumbaikar’s tired of the long haul to Bhiwandi, Ulhasnagar? New metro line 5 and 5A may cut the grind | Mumbai News

A metro corridor once planned as a limited Thane–Bhiwandi link has now evolved into a longer, more complex network that could significantly change how people travel across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The revised Metro Line 5, along with its extension Line 5A, stretches from Kapurbawdi in Thane through Bhiwandi to Kalyan and Ulhasnagar bringing mass rapid transit to areas that have long depended on overcrowded suburban trains and road transport. While the project was first approved in 2017, only its initial phase moved forward. The latest redesign not only revives stalled sections but also reworks the alignment to overcome earlier on-ground challenges. The ₹18,130.55-crore project was approved on Wednesday at a meeting of the state’s infrastructure development committee chaired by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. How the alignment has changed The biggest shift lies in the Bhiwandi–Kalyan stretch, which had been stuck for years due to land constraints and concerns over traffic disruption. Originally planned as an elevated corridor, a key section between Dhamankar Naka and Temghar has now been moved underground. The earlier plan would …

Waking up more tired than usual? 5 signs you are not getting quality sleep: From frequent nighttime urination to snoring

Waking up more tired than usual? 5 signs you are not getting quality sleep: From frequent nighttime urination to snoring

Sleeping seven to eight hours is the standard benchmark, usually reiterated by health professionals time and again. Quality sleep is essential for everything from brain function to heart health. In fact, some studies suggest that consistently sleeping late may accelerate brain ageing, while poor sleep habits can also place added stress on your cardiovascular system- meaning sleep deprivation is a precursor for many health issues. But here’s the oversight: even if you are getting those recommended seven to eight hours, it still doesn’t guarantee good-quality sleep. You can clock in a full night’s rest and yet wake up feeling anything but refreshed, productive, or mentally sharp. ALSO READ: Eyes twitching often? (Picture credit: Shutterstock) In a conversation with HT Lifestyle, Pranav Kaistha, sleep diagnostics specialist and co-founder at SomniScan, revealed that actual sleep quality does not solely come from the hours you sleep. While clocking in the time is useful, only focusing on it will be like …

‘Shah Rukh would tutor Aryan, Suhana online for exams while shooting abroad’: Ex security chief says SRK has never told Gauri he’s tired for family time | Bollywood News

3 min readMumbaiApr 15, 2026 01:58 PM IST Shah Rukh Khan’s former security head is all praise for the family man that he is. Yaseen Khan looked after Shah Rukh and his family’s security arrangements exclusively for 10 years from 2001 till 2011. He now heads a security agency often enrolled by top stars and cricketers. That allows him to keep bumping into Shah Rukh and his kids, Aryan Khan and Suhana Khan, who were in school back when he worked with them. In fact, he even trained Aryan in karate. “Aryan trained in gymnastics for some time. He does really nice somersaults. A few years ago, when I met him, after catching up, he told me, ‘You used to say I can’t do this somersault, right?’ He showed me that somersault right then! He’s a lot into sports, just like his father,” said Yaseen, adding that Aryan has inherited a lot of values from his father, who’s as grounded and disciplined. “Aryan is a very nice kid. Right from the start, he used to …

CSK bowling coach Eric Simons reacts to 23-run win over DC: ‘The boys were tired of losing 3 in a row’ | Cricket News

4 min readChennaiApr 12, 2026 07:15 AM IST After three straight defeats, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) bounced back to winning ways, beating Delhi Capitals (DC) by 23 runs on Saturday. While Sanju Samson’s unbeaten 115 hogged the limelight, the performance of the bowling unit was equally impressive, with Jamie Overton emerging as the pick of the bowlers, claiming 4/18 and paving the way for the hosts to win their first home game at the MA Chidambaram Stadium after six attempts. After putting up 212/2 on the board, CSK looked energetic on the field. The body language, which appeared to drop in the last couple of outings, was in contrast on Saturday, with Sarfaraz Khan’s splendid catch at point to dismiss Axar Patel, lifting the morale of the team. “I mean, it’s always been about this tournament, you need to get on a roll, and you need to get the positivity going, but there’s a lot of positivity around the camp, obviously, after a win like this, but even leading into it, the practices have been …

Always Tired After Lunch? This “Sunshine” Deficiency Is Draining 70% of Indians—Even If You Sleep 8 Hours

3 min readUpdated: Jan 30, 2026 07:52 AM IST Written by Dr Shovana Veshnavi When 33-year-old Lara came to my OPD, she feared the worst. “I sleep a full eight hours, I go for a run in the evening after work, I eat clean but come afternoon, I feel sapped out, exhausted and feel sleepy. Some days I feel like crashing out despite cups of coffee. Nothing seems to be wrong, yet everything is. Am I seriously sick?” she asked me. This is a common question asked by many of my patients who are not aware of a key deficiency. Such energy crashes happen when you have low vitamin D levels. Many do not realise that this micronutrient fuels up the body’s energy reserve. Her vitamin D levels were 12 ng/mL, far below the optimal range of 20-50 ng/mL. The Vitamin D Crisis in India Paradoxically, India — a sun-drenched nation — faces alarming vitamin D deficiency rates. Studies reveal that over 70% of urban Indians are deficient, largely due to indoor lifestyles, pollution blocking …

Toxic air wake-up call: We get tired and our recovery is slower when we train outdoors, writes para world champion Sumit Antil | Sport-others News

The window for athletes to train is shrinking in and around the National Capital Region because of toxic air in winter and searing summers. As the country makes a pitch for the 2036 Olympics, The Indian Express spoke to coaches and athletes from a wide range of sports — boxing, wrestling, athletics and para-athletics, cycling, shooting, hockey and also experts — on the impact of the conditions on health and training. International badminton stars, in Delhi last week for the India Open, have complained to the International Olympic Committee about the air pollution, and have cited health concerns. Sumit Antil writes: My training base is Sonepat but this place also has bad AQI. In winters, though most of the training happens indoors (in the gymnasium) for javelin throwers as it is the off season. But when we do practice throws outdoors, we face the issue. It does have an effect on our body as well as health. We get tired and recovery is slower when we train outdoors. So the focus is training indoors and …
