Fearing for her survival, she comes across some intriguing people who are convinced the mess they created is the right way to be in They Will Kill You.  Speaking exclusively to us about his time portraying Kevin, who is a part of a Satanic Cult, and what it was like walking into the high-rise building, The Virgil, where all the chaos happens, he said, “I can’t speak highly enough about Jeremy Reed and his team and everyone that put the sets together with such attention to detail, such creepiness, but also such familiarity. They Will Kill You movie review: The Zazie Beetz film is all blood and gore | Movie-review News

3 min readMar 27, 2026 02:41 PM IST They Will Kill You movie review: “When the poor give to the rich, the devil laughs.” That’s the longest — and clearly, it thinks, the deepest — sentence They Will Kill You has in its vocabulary, and that too is a quote from the 16th-century Italian goldsmith-sculptor-author Benvenuto Cellini. But, for all that self-aggrandising pretentiousness, the devil, who at least has a sense of devilry about him, is hardly likely to be amused – forget laughing. A pastiche of Quentin Tarantino, minus that director’s sharp dialogue and incisive score, this film directed by Kirill Sokolov is blood and bore. A little more of the red stuff squirting out of body parts, and Satan himself may have choked. As for “the poor giving to the rich”, or the Whites giving it to the Blacks (which is one way of looking at it), They Will Kill You is not very choosy once the bloodletting starts. The socialist pretensions, such as they are, end literally on the first floor, where …

He reminds me of a kid in a candy store, where he’s got all of the different flavors of sweets that he needs to create this incredible sweet that no one’s ever thought of before. He has a youthful exuberance, and he’s just very excited by everything, and he knows what the sweet flavor should be. So when he doesn’t quite get it right, then he wants to collaborate with everyone to make it what it should be. His excitement definitely fueled a …
