US President Donald Trump has drawn fresh attention after sharing an AI-generated image on his Truth Social platform, portraying himself as a god-like figure resembling Atlas, carrying the globe on his shoulders. This is not the first time Trump’s social media activity has attracted attention. (Truth Social/ @realDonaldTrump) The image shows Trump draped in an American flag while lifting the Earth above his head, styled in a mythological, larger-than-life depiction. The post was shared without any caption, leaving its intent open to interpretation. The post came shortly after US military action targeting drone storage facilities in Iran, following an incident involving a commercial vessel in the Strait of Hormuz, according to The Mirror US. While no direct connection has been confirmed between the military developments and the social media post, the overlap has added to the discussion around Trump’s recent online activity. The remarks are obviously uninformed, inappropriate and in poor taste. They certainly do not reflect the reality of the India-US relationship, which has long been based on mutual respect and shared interests,” MEA Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said. Trump’s messaging on Iran grows increasingly erratic The US president has been commenting on the conflict almost in real time in seemingly off-the-cuff exchanges with reporters, including from AFP, who call his cell phone. Twice in recent days the White House has had to correct statements the 79-year-old billionaire made in the calls. On Sunday, Trump told broadcaster ABC that Vice President JD Vance would not be leading the US delegation for a second round of talks with Iran in Pakistan, a statement quickly pulled back by official sources. On Monday, Trump told the New York Post that negotiators were en route to Islamabad. They were not. The vice president was still in Washington at midday Tuesday for “meetings.” The multiple conversations with reporters undermine well-established norms that the president’s “time is precious” and that he “must always use secure communications,” said Robert Rowland, …

Elon Musk Calls Donald Trump’s Twitter Ban ‘Grave Mistake’, Condemns Violence

Twitter’s ban on then President Donald Trump after January 6, 2021, attack on the US Capitol by his supporters was a “grave mistake” that had to be corrected, Chief Executive Elon Musk said on Friday, although he also stated that incitement to violence would continue to be prohibited on Twitter. “I’m fine with Trump not tweeting. The important thing is that Twitter correct a grave mistake in banning his account, despite no violation of the law or terms of service,” Musk said in a tweet. “Deplatforming a sitting President undermined public trust in Twitter for half of America.” Last week, Musk announced the reactivation of Trump’s account after a slim majority voted in a Twitter poll in favor of reinstating Trump, who said, however, that he had no interest in returning to Twitter. He added he would stick with his own social media site Truth Social, the app developed by Trump Media & Technology Group.
