Officials said the action was initiated after explosives were recovered from his residence during searches. The demolition, carried out between Thursday and Friday, led to a massive blast that destroyed the house, prompting security forces to cordon off the entire area. A high alert was declared across South Kashmir, with additional forces deployed to prevent any law-and-order issues as searches continued through the night.
