A 22-year-old woman in Uttar Pradesh’s Baghpat district was allegedly murdered on Wednesday by her husband, brother and three others after she ran away with a man she was in a relationship with, the police said, adding that four people have been arrested and charged with murder so far. The incident took place in Binauli village. As per the First Information Report (FIR) lodged by Neeraj Kumar at Binauli police station on Thursday morning, he was in a relationship with Suman Kumari, who stayed in his village. However, her family members were opposed to their relationship and refused to let her marry him. On November 23 last year, Suman Kumari was married to Krishna Yadav, 28, who hails from a village in Haryana. After Kumari came to her house in Binauli on December 29, she ran away with Kumar, the police said.
