Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Saturday said that while fuel is currently not readily available in rural areas, he has instructed authorities to ensure an uninterrupted supply of diesel to farmers. Speaking to PTI, Fadnavis issued a stern warning against the black-marketing of fuel in the name of farmers, noting that some parts of the state had witnessed a sudden 20 to 30 per cent spike in fuel sales. Union Minister for Railways Ashwini Vaishnaw will flag off a 20-coach Vande Bharat Express train between Jammu and Srinagar on April 30, while the services for the general public will commence on May 2. The modern 20-coach Vande Bharat train will commence its maiden journey from Jammu Tawi (Representational photo) The direct train services between Srinagar and Jammu will reduce the travel time between the twin capitals of Jammu and Kashmir, and boost tourism besides providing an all-weather surface transport link.
