Vasant Panchami celebrations conclude with ‘Veena concert’ at Basar temple

A veena concert titled ‘Veenanadha Neerajana – Veenavani’ marked the Vasant Panchami celebrations at the famous Gnana Saraswati temple in Basar of Nirmal district on Friday evening. Artistes played 108 veenas with perfect synchrony, leaving the audience spellbound at Aksharabyasa Mandapam at the temple complex late in the evening. The amazing performance by the students and teachers of the Tyagaraja Music College and the Bhakta Ramadasu Music College evoked loud applause from the audience. Mudhole MLA Rama Rao Pawar and Nirmal Collector Abhilasha Abhinav were among those present.
