Several readers have reported that they are unable to access the Vikatan Group website after a cartoon of PM Modi in chains was published in Vikatan Magazine. | Photo Credit: Vikatan Group Logo/Website Vikatan Group said several readers have reported that they are unable to access its website, however there has been no official confirmation from government sources about the website being blocked.  The development comes amid a cartoon of  Prime Minister Narendra Modi in chains published in Vikatan Magazine, which was criticised by BJP supporters. In a post on X, Vikatan said it is still trying to ascertain the reasons behind the blocking of its website, and are in the process of taking up the matter with the Union Ministry of Information and of Information and Broadcasting. Suriya’s critically-acclaimed Tamil film Jai Bhim continues to bag top honours at award functions. After bagging the best film award at the Filmfare Awards South recently, the movie has pocketed five awards at Vikatan Awards which include best actor for Suriya and best film.
