Vitality Blast 2026 Fixtures: The 2026 T20 Blast will start on 22 May with the final match on 18 July 2026. The 24th edition of the T20 Blast (currently known as the Vitality Blast for sponsorship reasons) will be played in a group-stage and knockout format, with a total of 115 matches between 18 participating teams. The 18 participants have been divided into six teams of three groups namely the North Group, Central Group and South Group. The 34-year-old Lauren Winfield-Hill has joined Essex on loan from Yorkshire for the upcoming Women’s Vitality Blast. Surrey has signed New Zealand’s white-ball captain Mitchell Santner to fill in the slot in the T20 squad for the Vitality Blast season. Santner will be available for eigh group-stage games and the knockouts in September. Dan Lawrence, Cameron Steel and Will Jacks were Surrey’s only spin options in the blast last year but the addition of Santner brings them a frontline option with more than 200 appearances in the format. Sussex Cricket announced the signing of Pakistan international allrounder, Shadab Khan for the 2023 T20 Vitality Blast, on Tuesday. Khan, who was appointed vice-captain for Pakistan’s limited-over teams in 2021, will join the Sussex Sharks for the entirety of the Blast campaign. The all-rounder who bowls eight-arm leg-spin has made 84 T20I appearances for Pakistan, taking 98 wickets, with best figures of 4-8. Shadab made his T20I debut for Pakistan against the West Indies in 2017 and made his mark instantly, winning the Man of the Match awards in back-to-back games, taking a total of 7 wickets for 21 runs.
