But with the sheer number of properties, officials say it is an uphill task. Officials told The Hindu that the thousands of properties must be uploaded and subsequently verified before the deadline. According to officials, the pressing concen stems from the fact that the erstwhile composite Medak district accounts for a particularly large number of waqf properties. The district alone, they said, has around 28,000 properties. Hyderabad also has a significant number of such properties that require documentation and verification.
