Salman Khan’s Maatrubhumi: May War Rest In Peace’s Release Delayed for This Reason?
Salman Khan is currently gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace. Earlier titled the Battle of Galwan, the film is expected to explore the emotional and patriotic aspects of the Galwan Valley conflict while highlighting the larger hope for peace in times of war. However, fans might have to wait a while for its release. As per fresh reports, the release has been delayed since the makers have not submitted it to the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) yet. Mid-Day quoted a source as saying, “At this stage, after making the necessary changes, the team is trying to understand what would be the next steps to ensure its smooth release. No department, whether the Ministry of Defence, the Army, or the CBFC, has seen the film yet.” Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace is produced by Salma Khan under the banner of Salman Khan Films, with Apoorva Lakhia at the helm as director.
