Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi will arrive in New Delhi on Wednesday for a three-day official visit from July 1 to 3 to participate in the 16th India-Japan Annual Summit. Takaichi will be travelling to India at the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This will be her first official visit to India after assuming office. During the Summit, both sides are expected to review and strengthen the full spectrum of bilateral cooperation as well as discuss regional and global issues of mutual interest, according to a statement released by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA). The Pune–Danapur Amrit Bharat Express will be flagged off from Hadapsar Railway Station on Wednesday by Union Minister for Railways, Information & Broadcasting and Electronics & Information Technology Ashwini Vaishnaw in the presence of other dignitaries, according to an official statement. The new service will be Maharashtra’s eighth Amrit Bharat Express and the second for Pune Division, aimed at providing affordable long-distance travel for the common man. Raja Shivaji collected Rs. 4.75 crore approx at the Indian box office on Wednesday. The daily collection drop from Tuesday was 15 per cent, which is a good hold. The drop was less in Maharashtra at under 10 per cent, with the business seeming to stabilise, after a bit of steep drop on Tuesday. The film didn’t have the “Tuesday Discount” boost in the state, while elsewhere, where it was a discount day the previous day, it had a bigger drop, which is also normal for the course.
