IPL Man of the Match Awards List update:  Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli rolled back the years on a spectacular Sunday double-header of IPL 2025 in their respective games. The IPL’s two highest run-getters set up wins for their respective teams, Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bengaluru, and inevitably landed the Player of the Match award. While Kohli’s umbeaten half-century for RCB against the Punjab Kings in a reverse fixture in Mullanpur earned his side their fifth win on the trot away from home, Rohit finally came good with the bat for MI in a thumping nine-wicket win against Chennai Super Kings. The 37-year-old Rohit got going with a six that landed in the stand that will soon be renamed in his name at the Wankhede. His unbeaten fifty also helped him surpass Shikhar Dhawan as the IPL’s second-highest run-scorer, only behind Kohli.
