Aayush Sharma recalls living in a Bandra apartment with Xbox, house help while ‘struggling’ in Bollywood: ‘Paid Rs 1.5 lakh for acting workshop’ | Bollywood News

4 min readNew DelhiUpdated: Apr 10, 2026 03:00 PM IST Actor Aayush Sharma has spoken candidly about his journey to Bollywood, which is quite different from the usual “outsider struggle” narrative. Before making his debut with Loveyatri (2018), produced by Salman Khan Films, Aayush admits he entered Mumbai with comfort, not hardship. The actor, who is married to Arpita Khan, comes from a politically influential family. He is the son of BJP leader Anil Sharma, an MLA from Mandi, and the grandson of former Union Minister Sukh Ram. In a conversation with Cyrus Broacha, Aayush spoke about arriving in Mumbai with a dream to become an actor but with no understanding of what it takes to become one. Ayush says financial backing was never his immediate challenge. ‘I didn’t struggle, I can’t even glorify it’ Aayush said his move to Mumbai was to become a hero. He enrolled at Jai Hind College and shifted to the city. But unlike the typical outsider narrative, his early days were far from difficult. “I came to Mumbai for …

Microsoft’s ugly sweaters return with Clippy, Xbox, and Zune brown options

Microsoft’s ugly sweaters return with Clippy, Xbox, and Zune brown options

Microsoft is bringing back its ugly sweaters for the holiday season. After taking a break for 2024, the company has an “Artifact” holiday sweater with lots of retro iconography, an even uglier Zune brown option, and even a green Xbox version. Clippy was the star of Microsoft’s ugly sweater in 2022, and the Artifact option this year puts the paperclip at the center, surrounded by MSN, Minesweeper, Internet Explorer, MS-DOS, and plenty of Windows logos. The Zune brown holiday sweater has a play button that I really hope lights something up. Both the Artifact and Zune sweaters are available for $79.95, and the Xbox sweater can be pre-ordered for $59.95. Microsoft first started sending out ugly sweaters to Windows fans in 2018, and then sold them to customers from 2020 onwards. For some reason the software maker didn’t ship an ugly sweater in 2024, but this year’s sweaters can be purchased through Microsoft’s online company store or its brick and mortar version in Redmond, Washington. Microsoft will also have its holiday sweaters available at its …

Available on November 25th for $80, the Xbox Crocs mimic the Xbox One X’s controller with fixed buttons and joysticks. Both Crocs feature the classic X, Y, B, A buttons, D-pad, left and right analog sticks, and even a white Xbox button and bumpers on the sides. The Xbox logo also appears on the ankle strap’s hinges. Microsoft and Crocs are also releasing a five-pack of shoe charms for $20, with characters and icons from Halo, Fallout, Doom, World of Warcraft, and Sea of Thieves. It’s all part of a collaboration between Crocs and Microsoft that marks 20 years since the Xbox 360 was first released. The company’s Windows XP-themed Crocs were also part of Microsoft’s 50th anniversary celebrations. Disclaimer: We do not own any of the content, ideas, images, or text presented here. You can now try the Xbox Full Screen Experience on any PC, laptop, or tablet

Microsoft is bringing the Xbox Full Screen Experience (FSE), which adds a console-like UI while navigating through your game library on a PC with a controller, to laptops, desktops, and tablets. FSE launched with the Xbox Ally and Xbox Ally X, and it has so far only been available on PC handhelds. The expansion to laptops, desktops, and tablets is available as part of new Windows Insider Preview Builds on the Dev and Beta channels and for people in the Xbox Insider Program. To turn on FSE on your PC, “hover over the Task View icon on your taskbar and choose Xbox full screen experience,” Microsoft says. “You can also open Xbox full screen experience in Game Bar > Settings or by pressing Win + F11 to toggle the experience.” However, even if you’re a Windows Insider, you may not have the access to FSE right away, as Microsoft says the feature is “gradually rolling out” with the new Windows Insider builds. It also requires that you have the Xbox app from the Microsoft store. …

Fortnite is coming to the Xbox PC store

Fortnite is coming to the Xbox PC store

Fortnite is going to be available on the Xbox on PC app beginning November 18th. Right now on PC, you have to launch the game from the Epic Games Launcher, but if you prefer the Xbox on PC app, that’s going to be an option. The game is also joining the Xbox Play Anywhere program, meaning “your progress and purchases will seamlessly follow you across Xbox consoles, PC, and supported gaming handhelds,” Microsoft says. That could make it easier to play on Xbox Ally and Xbox Ally X, if you want to get in some drops on one of the handhelds. On November 18th, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will get Epic’s Fortnite Crew subscription as an additional perk, too. With a Crew subscription, you get a new skin and 1,000 V-Bucks every month as well as access to all of Fortnite’s various battle passes so you can earn items to use in the game’s many modes. Halo Infinite is about to get its last major update

Halo Infinite is about to get its last major update

On November 18th, Operation: Infinite will be released for Halo Infinite players with a battle pass and lots of new customizations, but according to the team, that’s it for this game’s content updates: With multiple Halo titles in development, we’ll need our whole team’s combined focus to deliver new experiences with the same passion and care that our community has given us. While we remain committed to supporting Halo Infinite on the road ahead, Operation: Infinite is the last major content update currently planned. Now, the team writes, “we’ve been floored by the response” to Campaign Evolved, which will be released on both PS5 and Xbox next year. How a bunch of hackers freed the Kinect from the Xbox

How a bunch of hackers freed the Kinect from the Xbox

In 2010, when Microsoft unveiled the Kinect, it pitched the camera as a revolutionary new gaming device. Swing an imaginary lightsaber and that would be translated onscreen. Throw a football and it would be caught on your TV. Fifteen years later, we know the Kinect as an expensive failure. Microsoft overestimated the demand for playing games with your body. But the Kinect did still turn out to be revolutionary — just not for gaming. Now, we understand the Kinect is anything but a gaming device. It became a robotics game changer, enjoyed a brief dalliance with pornography, and is now upsold as a ghost hunting toy. None of which would have been possible had a community of hackers not come together to fashion open source drivers for the Kinect, freeing it from the limitations of being locked to the Xbox 360 and opening new frontiers of experimentation, creative expression, and commercial advancement. “Technically, nothing the Kinect did was entirely new,” says Memo Akten, an artist working with code, data, and AI and an assistant professor …

Microsoft releases an Xbox Full Screen Experience preview for the MSI Claw

Microsoft releases an Xbox Full Screen Experience preview for the MSI Claw

Microsoft’s new Xbox Full Screen Experience (FSE), which adds a console-like navigation experience to Windows PC gaming handhelds, is coming to another family of devices: the MSI Claw. As part of the latest Windows 11 Insider Preview Build, Microsoft is rolling out support for the Xbox FSE in preview to “MSI Claw models” today, the company announced. FSE debuted on the Xbox Ally and Xbox Ally X earlier this month, and my colleague Sean Hollister ran into quite a few issues with it (and the new handhelds). If you’re interested in installing the Xbox FSE on your MSI Claw, you might want to wait until some of the problems are ironed out and until it’s available outside of the Windows Insider program. To turn on the Xbox FSE, “on supported devices, go to Settings > Gaming > Full screen experience, then select Xbox as your home app,” Microsoft says. “Once enabled, you can access FSE from Task View and Game Bar or configure your handheld to enter full screen experience on startup.” In today’s post, …

Xbox Handheld Gaming Console to Arrive With Custom AMD Processor, Tipster Claims

Microsoft is said to be developing an Xbox handheld gaming console, and details of the device’s specifications have surfaced online. While Asus is expected to launch an Xbox-branded handheld device with a dedicated Xbox key in the coming months, Microsoft’s device could be equipped with a low-powered processor developed by AMD, according to a leaker. Microsoft is also expected to launch its next-gen gaming console in 2027, which is expected to compete with the purported PlayStation 6. AMD to Develop Custom Chip for ‘Real’ Microsoft Handheld According to details shared by user KeplerL2 on the NeoGAF forums, Microsoft will use a custom low-power APU designed by AMD on its handheld gaming device. The leaker doesn’t provide additional details related to the power consumption or the architecture of the processor. The user claims that the custom APU designed by AMD will be used on the “real” Xbox handheld from Microsoft. Meanwhile, the Xbox branded handhelds that are produced by other OEMs like Asus, will be equipped with other processors like the AMD Ryzen Z2 Extreme, Intel’s Lunar …
