CBSE cancels Class XII board exams in seven Middle East countries amid tensions
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the cancellation of Class XII board examinations for students in several Middle East countries. The affected countries include Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. All exams that were scheduled from March 16 to April 10, 2026, have now been cancelled. This decision also applies to exams that had been postponed earlier as per previous CBSE circulars dated March 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9, 2026.
