Boxing Day Test | ‘It was probably one of the best barbecues I’ve seen’: Nathan Lyon on Yashavi Jaiswal-Virat Kohli run-out | Cricket News

With most of talk happening about the run-out involving Indian opener Yashasavi Jaiswal and Virat Kohli during the last 45 minutes of the second day of the Boxing Day Test match in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy at Melbourne, Australian off-spinner Nathan Lyon too had weighed down his thoughts on the run-out. Post Australia’s first inning’s total of 474, India seemed in control at 153 for 2 with Yashasavi Jaiswal batting on 82. With Jaiswal hitting a Scot Boland delivery towards mid-on, Kohli and Jaiswal had a mix up in the middle resulting in Jaiswal getting run out followed by India losing two more wickets before the end of the day’s play. Lyon took a dig at the run-out terming it as ‘one of the best barbecues’ he has seen. “It was probably one of the best barbecues I’ve seen, to be honest with you. It came out of the blue. They were doing it pretty easy out there … Pressure does funny things. Silly run-outs are coach killers, aren’t they? It was pretty special,” Lyon told …
