Govt extends ED director Rahul Navin’s tenure by 1 year

The government, on Sunday, extended Enforcement Directorate (ED) Director Rahul Navin’s tenure by one year, keeping him in the post until August 13, 2027. (HT File) According to an order issued by the Union Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the extension for Navin, who is a 1993-batch Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer. The extension will continue beyond his scheduled retirement on July 31, 2027, according to the government order. Her brother Mahesh Basappa told the police that Dakshayini had developed mental health issues after the death of her son in 2005.
