Jung Ji So will reportedly reunite with Cho Yeo Jung in “The Scent of Plum Blossoms”

Jung Ji So is in discussion to reunite with her Parasite co-star, Cho Yeo Jung. Several media outlets reported that Jung Ji So will be joining the upcoming historical MBC K-drama The Scent of Plum Blossoms. Actress Cho Yeo Jung was the first to receive the casting offer.  Jung Ji So’s agency then shared their response to the casting news. According to TN Entertainment, “Jung Ji So is positively reviewing the offer to star in the new K-drama The Scent of Plum Blossoms.”  If Jung Ji So decides to join the new series, this will be her reunion work with actress Cho Yeo Jung. The two have worked in the hit 2019 film Parasite together with Song Kang Ho, Lee Sun Kyun, Choi Woo Shik, Park So Dam, and Jang Hye Jin. Yeo Jin Goo And Ha Jung Woo Are Trapped In A Hijacked Airplane In New Thriller Crime Film

Yeo Jin Goo, Ha Jung Woo, Chae Soo Bin, and more will star in the new crime thriller film “Hijacking” (working title)! The film distribution company Sony Pictures Entertainment announced on February 28 that their new film “Hijacking” starring Yeo Jin Goo, Ha Jung Woo, Chae Soo Bin, and Sung Dong Il will be released sometime in June of this year. “Hijacking” will depict the story of people struggling in an extreme situation when their plane gets hijacked in the airspace of Korea in 1971. The film takes place in the 1970s when airliner hijackings were rampant around the world. Ha Jung Woo takes on the role of Tae In, a pilot of the airliner that gets hijacked. Tae In is a former Air Force fighter pilot with excellent flying skills and a strong sense of responsibility. Yeo Jin Goo plays Yong Dae, a passenger on the plane. Cho Yeo Jung in talks to return to historical K-dramas with “The Scent of Plum Flower”

Cho Yeo Jung will reportedly make a grand comeback to the historical genre. On February 28, media outlets reported that Cho Yeo Jung has been picked to lead the upcoming MBC historical K-drama titled The Scent of Plum Flower (working title).  Cho Yeo Jung’s side hasn’t given their response about the casting reports.  If Cho Yeo Jung confirms her casting, this will be her grand return to MBC as well as to the historical genre. Cho Yeo Jung was last seen on MBC K-drama in 2006. This will also possibly be Cho Yeo Jung’s return to historical K-dramas after almost 12 years.  She is also expected to lead the upcoming K-drama Tarot with Park Ha Sun, DEX, Go Gyu Pil, Seo Ji Hoon, and Lee Joo Bin. The upcoming K-movie Dark Nuns confirmed its cast lineup.  On February 16, Distributor company NEW officially confirmed that Song Hye Kyo, Jeon Yeo Been, Lee Jin Wook, Heo Joon Ho, and Moon Woo Jin will be the main leads of the upcoming film Dark Nuns.  Dark Nuns will be the spin-off of the hit 2015 film The Priests which was led by Kim Yoon Seok, Kang Dong Won, Park So Dam, Kim Eui Sung, Son Jong Hak, and Lee Ho Jae. Upcoming film “Dark Nuns” (literal translation) has finalized its starring cast! A spin-off of Kang Dong Win’s hit 2015 film “The Priests,” “Dark Nuns” will tell the story of nuns who perform exorcisms. Song Hye Kyo will star as Sister Junia, a brave and determined nun who steps up to save a young boy’s life. No method seems to help or work on the young boy, who is suffering great pain, but Sister Junia valiantly refuses to give up on the suffering child. Jeon Yeo Been will play Sister Michaela, a nun who becomes curious about Sister Junia. In spite of the chaotic and confusing situation, Sister Michaela makes up her mind to help Sister Junia no matter what. Lee Jin Wook will play the role of Father Paolo, a priest and psychiatrist who believes that medicine can cure the young boy. Lee Jin Wook may be starring in a new film together with Song Hye Kyo and Jeon Yeo Been! On February 14, SEDAILY STAR reported that Lee Jin Wook will star in the new film “Dark Nuns” (literal title). In response to the report, Lee Jin Wook’s agency BH Entertainment shared, “Lee Jin Wook is reviewing [the offer] to star in the film ‘Dark Nuns’ positively.” “Dark Nuns” will be the female version of Kim Yun Suk and Kang Dong Won’s 2015 film “The Priests,” which garnered 5.44 million moviegoers. Lee Jin Wook will possibly work alongside Song Hye Kyo and Jeon Yeo Been in the upcoming movie Dark Nuns.  On February 14,  media outlets shared that Lee Jin Wook will be added to the cast of the upcoming movie Dark Nuns.  Lee Jin Wook’s agency gave their official statement regarding the circulating reports. On January 22, it was reported that Yeo Jin Goo is in talks to star in the new drama “Saeraenadae” (romanized title) acccording to industry insiders. In response to the report, Yeo Jin Goo’s agency J Full Entertainment shared, “‘Saeraenadae’ is one of the projects that he received an offer for.” Set against the backdrop of a virtual Joseon, “Saeraenadae” depicts the love story between a prince of Joseon, who wants to escape from the country to be happy, and a young lady from a poor family, who wants to be happy by becoming successful in Joseon.
