On March 22, Badshah is all set to create history as he will become the first Indian rapper to perform at The O2 Arena in London. Amid the excitement ahead of the show, he recently revealed that he was denied entry inside the venue. On March 3, Badshah took to social media and shared a clip of himself outside The O2 Arena.
Badshah denied entry at The O2 Arena
Badshah shared a video on his Instagram in which he can be seen visibly upset, walking in front of the venue’s closed doors. He is seen wearing a blue-and-red jacket and track pants. On the video, he wrote, “Andar ghusne nahi diya, ab 22 March ko 20000 ki family ke saath ghusunga (They didn’t let me in, now I’ll enter on March 22 with my family of 20000). Along with the video, he wrote in his caption, “LONDON Izzat ka sawaal hai 22 march O2 Tickets link in bio.” Have a look:
Soon after he shared the video, Nora Fatehi dropped a comment that read, “LETS GO.” Even his fans were seen cheering for him. A comment read, “We’re always proud of you.” Another comment read, “Badshah representing india proudly.” One of the comments also read, “From being stopped at the door to owning the stage. that’s Badshah.”
Meanwhile, Badshah recently shared a video with Shreya Ghoshal from the sets of the show Indian Idol 16. He asked for her tips since he would be performing at such a big venue for the very first time. Shreya showered him with praise and urged everyone to go watch him perform live. Along with the video, he wrote, “I asked for blessings. She gave me belief. As we move closer to my 1st ever o2, ill make sure i carry these words with pride on stage to give my people everything i have and more 22nd MARCH – O2 LONDON Come witness what we’ve been building.”
Recently, Badshah, in his statement to ANI, expressed his excitement about performing in London. He said, “Headlining The O2 is more than a milestone — it’s a dream I’ve carried for years. Desi hip hop belongs on the global stage, and this show is our declaration. London, we’re about to make history together — louder, prouder and bigger than ever. 22nd March 2026 will be a night we remember forever.”
