Akshay Kumar starrer Sky Force is ruling hearts. The film released one January 24 and has been getting positive reviews from the audience as well as the critics. The movie is going ahead with just positive word of mouth. The film is based on the 1965 Indo-Pakistani air war, which marked India’s first major airstrike. Veer Pahariya makes his Bollywood debut with this movie. He has received a lot of praises for his performance. The actor has impressed everyone with his dialogue delivery and his expressions.
Social media is filled with praises for the actor. Veer Pahariya essays the role of T Krishna Vijaya aka Tabby while Akshay Kumar plays the role of Wing Commander Kumar Om Ahuja. The film also stars Nimrat Kaur and Sara Ali Khan in key roles. The film did a good opening at the box office and earned Rs 15.30 crores. On day 2, it earned Rs 26.30 crore taking the total to Rs 42 cross gross.
Now, on the third day as per early estimates by Sacnilk, the film has earned Rs 27.50 crore. The film is slowly getting towards Rs 70 crore and before next weekend, it will cross the Rs 100 crore mark. This is going to be a big success for Akshay Kumar.
This is one of the biggest openings for Akshay Kumar in the recent times. The film is directed by Abhishek Anil Kapur and Sandeep Kewlani and produced by Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik under Maddock Films, alongside Jyoti Deshpande under Jio Studios.
