66th Annual Grammy Awards Live Updates: The 2024 Grammy Awards are here, and the Recording Academy is gearing up for the music industry’s biggest night. The event will take place at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California. SZA leads with nine nominations. Hosted by Trevor Noah, the 2024 Grammys will feature a competitive race for the best album, including nominees such as Taylor Swift’s Midnights, SZA’s SOS, Olivia Rodrigo’s GUTS, and more. Miley Cyrus, Taylor, Billie Eilish, Olivia, Brandy Clark, John Batiste, and Jack Antonoff all boast six nominations each. If Swift pocks up album of the year, she will make history as the first artist to win the award four times.
This year, India’s Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, has also been nominated for an award. He was recognised for his lyrical contribution to the song “Abundance in Milts,” which features music by Falguni Shah and Gaurav Shah.
Before the official ceremony at 8 p.m. (local time), a pre-show premiere ceremony hosted by Justin Tranter will feature several categories. The pre-show will be live-streamed on live.Grammy.com and the Recording Academy’s YouTube channel, and on Paramount+. In India, the viewers can watch the ceremony on Grammy.com and the Recording Academy’s YouTube channel, starting at 7 am IST on Monday.
Olivia Rodrigo, Luke Combs, Billy Joel, Burna Boy, Dua Lipa and Joni Mitchell, among others artists, are expected to perform at the event.
