Alia Bhatt often shares photos with her pet cat, Edward. But it is not every day that you see her posting a picture clicked by her little-over-two-year-old baby girl, Raha. On Pet Day, the Jigra actor dropped an adorable photo, cuddling her cat. The moment you check the caption, you will realise why the photo is even more special!
What looks like an off day, Alia chose to spend the day with her daughter and her cat. Sitting on the floor of their living room, the actor posed for Raha. She proudly mentioned it in the caption, writing, “A picture with my prince, clicked by my princess.” She also wished her fans on Pet Day. Here is the photo:
Fans took to the comment box and showered red heart emojis. “Awwwww …. The best caption ever,” wrote celebrity makeup artist Puneet Saini. A fan wrote, “Raha is the cutest tiny photographer ever!” and “Awww raha clicked mama and Edward”. “Rahu’s tiny hands holding the camera, but oh-so-big love in a click. Mama’s little fan is already her sweetest photographer”, quipped a third user cheerfully.
For the unversed, Edward is a white Persian cat, gifted to Alia by her former boyfriend, Sidharth Malhotra. In the last Koffee With Karan edition, she thanked him for gifting her Edward through a video message. “I am very thankful to Sid, because he has given me the first love of my life, Edward,” she said. In a different Rapid Fire round, Sidharth was asked about his learnings from his last relationship. “I think I learned from my last relationship – don’t gift pets,” he swiftly said. When asked abut the one thing he would want to steal from Alia Bhatt, Sidharth replied, “The cat…Edward.”
On another note, Alia Bhatt is enjoying motherhood to the fullest. During her podcast with Jay Shetty, the actor revealed how she transforms herself around her daughter. “I become very childlike when I am with her. The one thing I am mindful about is to enjoy her childhood. I try to be present with Raha, which is something I don’t do with other moments in my life. I am always 10 steps ahead otherwise, but with her, I try to be present and in the moment it happens more naturally because I want to enjoy every second,” she told him.
On the work front, Alia Bhatt is currently shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War, co-starring her husband Ranbir Kapoor, and Vicky Kaushal.
