The teaser of Bhoot Bangla has finally dropped and fans are already buzzing with excitement. The upcoming horror-comedy marks the much-awaited reunion of Akshay Kumar and filmmaker Priyadarshan, a duo known for delivering several iconic comedies over the years.

Within hours of its release, the teaser sparked strong reactions on social media, with many fans praising the nostalgic vibe and comic timing. The film also boasts an ensemble cast featuring Tabu, Wamiqa Gabbi, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav and the late Asrani, adding to the anticipation.

Many viewers took to X (formerly Twitter) to celebrate the teaser, saying it reminded them of the golden era of Akshay Kumar’s comedy films. One fan wrote, “Great to see both of u back together again. The trailer already carries that signature mix of comedy, chaos and timing. Looks like a blockbuster in the making. Fans Compare It To Bhool Bhulaiyaa

Some netizens even compared the teaser’s tone to Akshay Kumar’s earlier horror-comedy hits. One fan commented, “This is the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 we all deserved, not the one that PR-made star Kartik Aaryan ruined with his overacting and his wannabe attitude of Akshay Kumar and Ranbir Kapoor.”

Film trade analyst and critic Komal Nahta also shared his reaction online, writing, “ICONIC! 🙌🙌 BhoothBangla spooktacular teaser drops! Big Reunion After 15 Years

Bhoot Bangla carries massive expectations as it marks the reunion of Priyadarshan and Akshay Kumar after more than 15 years. The director-actor duo previously delivered cult comedy hits that continue to enjoy a loyal fan base.

The film’s ensemble cast, which includes Tabu, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav and Asrani, has also raised hopes that the movie will deliver a mix of spooky moments and laugh-out-loud comedy.

The film is scheduled to release in theatres on April 10, 2026. At the box office, it will face competition from Dacoit: A Love Story, starring Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur, which will also release in Hindi alongside its Telugu version.

However, trade watchers believe Bhoot Bangla may face its biggest challenge from the lingering box office impact of Dhurandhar 2, which releases a few weeks earlier and is expected to dominate screens.
